Practitioner-led S.B.I was developed as a direct outcome of our experience providing a successful, compassionate, day to day service for clients with suicidal ideation, and those bereaved by suicide. In order to share best practice, whilst addressing the worrying rising statistic of suicide in Wales, S.B.I has equipped community members, third sector organisations, education and corporate institutions with proven and invaluable skills in suicide prevention & intervention. In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our participants, training is delivered by two highly qualified and experienced practitioner trainers.
Sarah, our counsellor, has worked 1:1 with over 65 clients experiencing suicidal thoughts, including those who have made an attempt to take their own life. Sarah has also supported over 30 families bereaved by suicide.
